Titus sermon
REMEMBER TO ALWAYS OBEY
Bible references: Titus 3 v1- 14
We live in a generation of forgetfulness that often scoffs at obedience and make Light of faithfulness. Our duty to remember is rooted in love, God commandment are rooted in his love for us.
WHY DID GOD CALL HIS PEOPLE TO REMEMBER AND OBEY HIS WORDS.
God created us (humankind) in his full image and in his likeness, and God has given us the power and wisdom to rule over everything that he created, Maintaining continuity is not easy for the Spirit. Liberalism emphasized a gradual triumph of good and missed the darker truth that there is a deep bias toward evil resulting from prideful rebellion against God, which has resulted in the world falling under the power of sin. The world is not easy to restore, even for the Spirit's because there are incredible powers of darkness to be overcome. To bring creation to consummation, Spirit suffers with it in its bondage to decay and its tendency to close in upon itself. Nevertheless, God does not abandon the creature and the Spirit persists in healing broken relationships, keeping the future open, and fostering hope. In spite of our sin, God's Jove does not Jet us go.
In (Titus 3 v 1)"Remind them to be subject to ruler and Authority to obey to be ready for every good work" here we can see that God is not only calling us to obey only he is also calling us to our responsibility and instructing us to do the things he has commanded.
WHAT SHOULD WE REMEMBER
* We should always remember not to speaks evil of anyone (in v 2)
* We should always show gentle attitude towards everyone.
* We should remember to avoid stupid arguments (in v 9)
* We should remember to always spend our time doing good (in v 14)
In conclusion Christians should focus on living and examplary life to others,we should remember that the will of God should be our goal. And we should be determined in our ways of life to always obey and remember God's instructions and call.
